Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay Contest

"A Time to Break Silence", is a speech delivered at New York's Riverside Church on April 4, 1967, by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a year before he was murdered. Again, its time to break silence! The essay contest is open to all students in grades 10-12. Only one entry per school will be accepted into the final round of the competition. If interested please stop by guidance. Graduation Supplies

On the morning of Wednesday, October 15th, Balfour will be at HHS to collect the full payment for your student's graduation supplies. The required graduation supply fee is $62.50 (does not include 9% sales tax, shipping and handling). Cap measurements will be taken prior to placing the order; however, students will need to know their correct height and weight on their own. ** A meeting was held by Balfour on Monday, October 6th. During this meeting your student received graduation supply information and a packet containing an order form.

Also on Wednesday, October 15th, Belmont Studios Photography will be available to deliver proofs, packages, place orders, etc.

Please send your seniors with the necessary amount of money to take care of their orders with Balfour and Belmont. If you are unable to do so on October 15th, please contact the company directly for payment instructions.
