Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership is one of the oldest and most prominent youth leadership organizations in the world. Founded in 1958, HOBY’s mission is to inspire and develop our global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service and innovation. HOBY programs are conducted annually throughout the United States, serving local and international high school students. Youth Leadership Forum of Birmingham is a community-wide leadership program for high school sophomores and juniors. As a participant, you'll hear from leading authorities in their fields. You'll cover issues ranging from government and volunteerism to arts and economic development. Wherever your interests in community affairs may lie, YLF can help bring out the leader in you.
